Experimental and Numerical Analysis of the Influence of Microchannel Size and Structure on Boiling Heat Transfer

Computational fluid dynamics was used and a numerical simulation analysis of boiling heat transfer in microchannels with three depths cross-sectional profiles conducted. The coefficient bubble generation process microchannel structures width 80 μm depth 40, 60, were compared during the process, factors influencing studied. A visual test bench built, substrates different sizes prepared using micro-nano laser. During test, behavior characteristics bubbles on surface temperature change heated wall collected high-speed camera sensor. It found that had largest shortest growth period, rectangular channel larger peak lower frequency occurrence, while V-shaped i.e., highest but its smaller than channel.
